I embarked on a self-health journey 15 years ago, never aligning with mainstream practices, often identifying with a free-spirited ethos reminiscent of past decades. However, as I age, I recognize that I am precisely where I am meant to be, poised to lead the next generation in natural health. My mission is to educate others about the foundational medicines that have persisted through time, many of which are still relevant today.

Having devoted over a decade to the medical insurance sector, I have observed countless individuals trapped in a repetitive cycle. A health issue arises, prompting a doctor visit, resulting in a prescription that alleviates the immediate concern but introduces new complications. This repetitive pattern raises profound questions for me about the practice of symptom masking rather than identifying and addressing underlying causes.

Our bodies signal their needs daily, yet many of us have been conditioned to disregard these vital alerts. The pervasive sentiment expressed by some practitioners—that symptoms are merely imaginative or inconsequential—is all too familiar. Yet, it is my body, and I know when something is amiss. There is a compelling need for collaboration in understanding and addressing health concerns.

This realization inspired me to return to academia to pursue a path as a Naturopathic Practitioner. I have completed the first of four years in my training and currently serve as a Natural Health Educator. In this capacity, while I do not diagnose conditions, I provide clients with informed recommendations based on natural remedies such as dietary adjustments and the therapeutic use of essential oils. My role is one of guidance; you undertake the journey, empowered by the knowledge and tools I offer.
